I was looking on ebay and found some HID lights for my truck for $30 shipped and it says it fits 00-03 F150;s... but i also see kits for like 65$. So do i need to buy a special kit to use HID lights or just get HID bulbs and change em?

You really think a 30- 65 $ "HID kit" is gonna work properly when in cases that they are an option on a car that it is usually close to $1K or more?? Of course there is greedy mark up, but those 30- 65 $ "HID kits" are maybe one step away from the poser "blue bulbs". Just google HID, xenon and such, you'll learn enough.

Good compared to what? Not real HID's that for sure. Maybe compared to "blue" bulbs and such.. but to each his own. :ride:
