The 2010 YZ450's dry weight of 235 pounds will feel like 235 pounds when lifting the bike off the stand, but, if Yamaha's physics are correct ,it should feel like 215 pounds when in motion.

My 1999 WR400 weighed somewhere around 250, ready to ride. It was heavy to put on a stand, or to pick up when I fell off of it. Snaking through the woods, it was very maneuverable and felt much lighter, though.

I'd say they are right... Mine is totally flickable when riding, makes my 09 feel like a torpedo that doesn't corner....
