Guess what I put under my butt Friday...

And no, it's not in the garage. I went down to the "local" Polaris/Honda/Yamaha shop to ask some questions about my sled, and since I had time to kill I went to see what they had on the floor. Much to my surprise, there sat the blue beauty. No joking, I spent better than an hour oogling over the thing while trying to keep my 2 kids from burning the store down. Looks very slick in person, much better than the photos. I was surprised at how wide the frame appears when looking at the bike, but when you sit on it wide is definitely not the feeling you get. It was weird to see how much the rad shrouds curve inward for the air scoops too. Cowboy likey very much. My oldest daughter wanted me to buy it because there's no exhaust pipe to burn herself on (she melted her shoe on my header last summer, but luckily didn't get burnt). Mom's not falling for our pleas.

I almost took them up on their generous offer of $2300 trade in for my bike toward the new one... :banghead:

I hear ya on that one. If I have to do anything with the three kids (twins that will be five in Feb, and a 3 1/2 year old), I have to make the trips QUICK because they find ways to entertain themselves.

I just got my son a PW50 for Christmas, and can't wait to give it to him.

Good luck on getting it if that is what you want.

My daughters are almost 5 and 2... it was a feat in itself trying to keep them in line while I daydreamed.

I'll have one someday, but I'm not going to rush out and pay full retail for one right now, and I couldn't swing the payment right now even if I wanted to. Maybe in 11.

i hear ya on the kids.... i had been looking for a 4wheeler for my daughter for a while without much luck... i mistakenly took her with me one day to the m/c shop to get something..... she said " here they are daddy.... you are looking in the wrong place"...........

A nice border collie is a good idea too...

Have you considered getting a border collie?

I'm thinking a 2 short lengths of rope tied to my belt would work... or a couple strong sedatives :banghead:

jhendr3702... gotta love toddler logic  The other day my wife asked our 4 year old if she was going to bake a birthday cake for mom. The response she got was "um, mom... I'm a 4 year old, not a chef."

I have a few years (I hope) before that becomes an issue. However, the 4 year old has now decided that she needs a little dirt bike, her quad (don't shoot) isn't enough I guess.
