Looks interesting. I like wierd cars so that would be perfect if it could move a bike too. Do you know the towing capacity and tongue weight? Last time I checked I couldn't find many details.

Once the bike is in, there's no room left to haul your gear and tools. The Sprinter has the same mileage and as much room as a full size van like an Econoline.

I had to take my Econoline 350 in for a recall appointment and had a chance to check out the Transit Connect. I wanted that van so bad but there's no way it could serve as a solid moto transporter. I have my E350 set up to race enduro out of and was hoping to get the smaller Connect so I could do longer road trips to races, get better mileage, and be a little more "compact" and non-descript. There's no way two guys can travel in comfort with two bikes with that van. Plus you got gas jugs, gear, etc.

I was hoping there would be enough room to load two bikes straight in and still have room for a partition and store gear. Not gonna happen. I think it would be a great van for a trials rider, but for full size race bikes and all the stuff that goes with them you need more.

My E350 has around 140K on it. I guess I'll start saving for a Sprinter as it looks like the best "next" rig after I run my E350 into the ground. Either that or I'll get another E350 and get a 4X4 kit installed as the biggest problem I have with mine is it's worthless in slush, snow, ice, and muddy rutted up access roads.

The good thing about the Econoline vans is there is such a large amount in the "fleet" you will always have $6K and $11K vans to buy as well as ample parts.
