What do you think?
no muffler, just a Y pipe, then 2.5 inch pipes to 3.5 inch tips
It only real loud when it first starts and the motor is cold, I can hardly hear it once it warms up.

Sounds kinda loud....hard to judge on a p-bucket file though.

In hindsight, I wish I had gone out the side like you did, mine come out on either side of the hitch, and can get a bit "drone-y" with a trailer on.

I am about to ditch the glasspack on my f150 and go with the same deal you did. But I think I may put a flowmaster on.

Do you have headers on that?

I grew up in an area of the country where mufflers would rust and fall off.
Most cars sound like crap without a tuned exhaust. If you're gonna run without mufflers at least get some tuned headers to improve the sound...
otherwise it just sounds like a every other car a rusted out exhaust.

No, it really doesn't.....sans muffler (with a cat still intact) sounds much different than a rotted off muffler.

The difference is, the exhaust piping and it's exiting OUTSIDE of the vehicle, not underneath.

I have a 94 C1500 with cat, no muff, and it sounds really good-deep, mellow, bassy tone.
