MY yx426 started to make a loud ratteling noise. We took it appart to find a broken basket tang. Had I have raced the motor it would have caused lots of damage. Lesson learned, if you hear loud rattling sound, turn motor off and check the basket. I will check with the dealer in hopes that he will cover it even though it is not under warranty. If not,I don't really care. There is no way you can expect that much power to not tear up something.
