I just had the canopy (topper) for my truck painted. Before painting I removed the molding that was screwed to the bottom edge of the canopy. I need something to cover the screw holes now. The original molding was in poor condition. Does anybody have any suggestions on what kind of molding I could use. Can the vinyl generic moldings be bent around corners??

Without seeing it, I'd say you may have been better off filling the holes and having them painted over (the smooth-clean look).

If you're not crazy about the molding, you could just put some stainless screws in the holes to take up the space.

It has been painted already. Plus the molding will be covering the manufactures flaws at the bottom edges of the canopy.

If you're referring to a type molding that was originally equipped with a thin vinyl strip that snapped into the molding over top of the screws...hiding the screws...check with a RV dealer or supply house. This type of molding is used on RV's, and you can buy replacement vinyl for it. The vinyl comes in various widths, but color may be an issue...unless white, ivory, brown or black is what you're looking for.
