I've been trying to straighten the rear brake rotor on a '08 YZ250F using a cresent wrench. I can see the caliper move and the brake binds up and stops the wheel when turning by hand but I can't seem to get the bend out enough to make it rotate smooth. I took the rotor off but the bend is so slight I can't really see it. Any advice? New rotor?

Pretty hard to do, as I'm pretty sure they are forged steel rotors, sometimes bending steel like that back it will snap.

Maybe someone else here has some advice, but I would be looking for a new one

Another vote for a new one....typically acceptable brake rotor runout is measured in thousands of an inch (.001), some applications are hundredths (.01).

Trying to meet that level of precision with a crescent wrench may be categorized as "challenging".

Maybe this could be used as a good reason to go to oversize rotors?
