intermediate terrain...mainly clay based...12-13 psi...dunlop 756...the time kept is on a hour meter and im sure there is probably more like another 5 hours of ride time left on the tire...so that would make it around 25 hours on the rear tire...just wondering if that was about average or if anyone even keeps up with it...

Yeah, about half of the tracks here have concrete starts. Those will cut your tire life in half or worse.

So that's about 5 hours, you simply give up too much traction running them longer. I will never turn around another one, NO BRAKES. This is on extreme terrian.
When I first started racing, 50 plus hours practice and 10 races.

but it really depends on the track and conditions, when i got my bike new, i ran it in, then took it to my local track (hardpack and wet) the rear trye lasted 2 practices before every knoobly was missing and the got a puncture.

I usually don't notice much difference when flipping tires. Sure you will get a little more forward drive but when it comes to slowing down, it seems like if you hit the brakes you end up speeding up... lol!
