Im looking for a new chain and ran across the new smart chain from sidewinder. Has anyone used it or heard anything about it in comparison to a D.I.D X-ring, or Pro Taper X-ring??? I used to have a Sidewinder sprocket on my old bike and liked their products but wasn't sure about this new chain? also, do you guys have any experience with their chain lube or titanium sprockets??? thanks

I have been tempted.Kinda $$$ but a high quality product.Might be my next chain.I'm with you as I have never heard of anyone using one. That along with an Ironman sprocket could last a whole year(West coast riding).

They will not let you use your warranty and have a very long history of the worst customer service in the industry. I would look towards a regina or some other chain.

as far as the chain i have no clue but for a good chain lube i just saw a thread on here about john deere chain lube of some tractor company ill update when i find the tread again and they said it didnt sling, was oring safe and worked excelent looks like that will be my next chain lube since chain wax stinks i also know that this klotz (red can) stuff or something like that worked extremely well for me but its kinda hard to find and a bit pricy so im gonna go with john deere next(plus its almost time for a new chain so if it turns out bad its no big anyway)

do a search here there are plenty of very unhappy users of this chain or you could just take my word for it and buy a cheaper better quality chain. Heck do a google search for Sidewinder chain customer service and see what you come up with.
