I've been kind of looking around for another 69 340 Dart but they're pretty scarce now. I wouldn't mind tinkering again.
Yeah I love the little 67-69 darts. This year I restored two for one customer (1 68, 1 69) both GTS's, both small block cars, one 340/ stick, one auto. I thought about trying to find one for myself since I really like that body style but your right, parts and a good car to start with are hard to find and really pricey. Still wouldn't mind having your moms old ragged out GTX sitting in my garage though:thumbsup:

Last summer I got into a "altercation" with some retards that were up in northern Ontario on a canoe/camping trip that decided to tear into me and the guy I was riding with about how we were single handily the cause of climate change. After taking a good amount of verbal abuse on the chin we bit our tongues and left. I had a good laugh at these guys since the 4 retards drove a ford expedition 1000 miles from Toronto to come and make a mess in the bush where I live and destroy the crown land camp site my buddy and I stopped at for lunch.
What I didn’t inform these douches of is that even though I look like a 23 year old dirt biking punk, I have a degree in Biology, and work for the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources.
I noticed about 7 laws these guys were breaking while eating my sandwich so when we got back to town I stopped in at the area office and let a Conservation Officer know about these clowns. The next day he paid them a visit and charged them with 11 offences. The guys even had caught fish and just tossed them in the bush to rot because they didn’t know how to clean them, cut down trees all along the camp site to burn, left a fire un attended, and several other small fines.
The C.O. would never normally have charged people of one or 2 small screw ups but even he said that they were dicks to him so he threw the book at them. The people who think they are "green" or going to save the planet can be the worst.

Since they are right next to a huge provinvial park, they have thousands of km's of trails which aren't open to dirtbikes/ATVs. They do use them, but they also take the horses onto the dirtbike/ATV trails sometimes. WTH. Not only do they crap all over the trails, they also block you from passing them, and give you dirty looks. One time me and a friend with a RM125 were racing around this section of the trail that is a loop, and we pulled up about 15-20 feet away from this group of horses, and slowed right down. One of the horses got spooked, and almost bucked the rider off. The whole group then comes over, and starts yelling at us, threatening to call the police. We asked them WTH they were doing on our trails, and that it's not our fault that the horse got spooked when you take it on trails for off-road vehicles. We kept riding around the "loop" section of the trail, and eventually a cop actually showed up. We showed him all of our paperwork, and that we had spark arrestors and our exhaust's weren't overly loud, he told us to have a nice day and then got mad at the person on the horse who called the police for wasting his time.
We then drove by her and basically did this: :p

Until we see some 4-wheeling jerk off messing up the sick, tight, steep uphills.
Or doing doughnuts in the parking lot (at the riding area).
And yeah, I've gotta agree with all the people that said chicks like dirt bikes.
Man, I walked into 7-11 to pay for gas and I had my jersey and pants on due to excitement of riding. And this crowd of girls came over to talk to me all about dirt biking!
Whoo!

Well as to why they hate us, I am sure the reasons are endless. I have managed to piss off my new neighbors and haven't even moved in yet. I bought a house in a rural area that is on 2.5 acres and checked with all city and county entities to determine if there is a rule/law/ordinance against having a track on my property or riding on my property. The answer was no, unless you are doing something criminal, such as drinking and riding. Well I am out checking the covered horse stalls I'll be selling and my new neighbor walks up and starts telling me how much irrigation costs, etc. I said I'm not irrigating. He says why not? Because I am putting in a track. His response is "well there will be opposition to that since I didn't move to the country to live next to a track" and does a 180 walks off. He's mostly pissed I think because: A) I don't really care what he thinks and B) he had an arrangement with the former owner where he would pay for irrigation and the owner would let him have his cattle on the land where the track is. So he wants to use something his way and doesn't want it used another way and I think that's where the problem lies. People didn't go to preschool and learn to share...

To be honest, putting a track on a 2.5 acre lot, with the noise and dust that will produce isn't cool, especially when all the neighbors are on the same size lots.
I ride, and I'd probably be less than happy if someone wanted to build a track right next to me on a postage stamp sized lot.
You should check into this "agreement" with the neighbor, because if it is in writing, you have to abide by that contract until it expires. This also has to be brought to your attention by the seller up front. If it's just a handshake deal, then it isn't worth the paper it wasn't written on.

Just because it is a foreclosure does not mean that if there was a contract in place that it is void.
When I purchased my farm, it too was a foreclosure, and there was a land rental contract in place, and I had to abide by it, or repay the farmer the lost revenue (minus input cost) that the use of the land would have generated.
I did, however, get the land rental fees.

Good to know. There is no written agreement I am aware of and this property has been vacant for over a year and he has not had his cattle on there since then, so I think it may be arguable that it is void by default.

Me too man! I've never had any problems with them on trails being that I live in Montana I find that quite odd. But what pisses me off is the Amish people that homesteaded over the hill from my cabin about 3 years ago. They bought over 5,000 acres of pasture for their horses, (Amish don't believe in cars or electricity) and they ride around in their little buggies usually drawn by a single horse, or they ride them horseback down the gravel road. Just the other day I was going up there to do some work and there was horse sh*t everywhere! I mean there was no way around it! Man that had me going! They should be courteous and at least shovel it off the road for god's sake! I've heard the saying "please pick up after your pup" but "please pick up after your horse?" Next time I ride my dirt bike up there I'm going to wrap it up next to their horse stable and scare the stupid horses.
