I crashed in Matomi wash about race mile 270 about 1:30. I was pinned under the bike and a quad rider picked it off of me. He helped pick up the bike. I fractured my right wrist and re injured my separated shoulder from a pre-running crash the day before.

This pretty much took the wind out of my sails, but I still finished a lot slower than I had expected at 22.5 hours. This was my first solo attempt so the fact that I finished was a feat in its own.

What a stud. It takes serious commitment and determination to finish after a crash like that. Congrats on finishing.

Thanks Fellas. I think I might of actually got knocked out :bonk: for a few seconds, it does not look like I am not moving right after the crash. The camera had broken of and was laying in the rocks.

Neck and shoulders are not doing too well either. Heading back to the doctor tomorrow.:busted:
