My son just broke the front brake lever on his 110 (where it bolts in the perch). We can finish out the day riding our backyard track with only the rear brake, but we were gonna go to a track this week so he really needs his front brake. I'm worried about our local dealer not having one in stock. Does anyone know of any other one's that will interchange with it, in case the dealer doesn't have one?

you can probably get a sunline perch and lever for what the dealer will want for the stock lever

It is just a drum brake. You can use a clutch lever or brake lever, what ever fits the perch. A lot of times they have the EMGO cheap lever/perch setup. Great to finish out a day, but they are cheap. At least spend 20-40 bucks on a lever/perch setup if you want a durable one.

only differece between a brake and clutch is the side the hole is drilled for the cable end

you can even use a bicycle brake lever, you might just have to drill the hole for the cable end a little larger - and most dealers will have universal cheapo ones on teh shelf - usually marked universal front brake mini bike lever.

Thanks for the tips. My dealer came through and got me one the next day.
