Should i replace the base gasket??

If i remove the head on my 426 will i need to replace just the head gasket or should i replace both the base gasket and head gasket?

I would replace both. OEM seems like the way to go.

When you remove the head you are going to "unseal" the base gasket too. It's a 50/50 shot of it sealing back up correctly and really not worth the trouble. I would replace it.
