Has anyone got a good way to clean or at least soften the carbon in ring grooves (2 stroke). I dont have an "extra" ring to scrape out the grooves. I'm going to re-use the rings and piston. They're both fine. Carb cleaner wont touch it. Did someone mention oven cleaner once? Obviously, I don't want to damage the piston.
