Post it over on the classifieds and ebay.

Anywhere from 500-$1000, depending on the condition and the current demand.

Please don’t take this the wrong way..I mean no disrespect

An assembly like a motor.... from a person who I do not know and or know use / maint of that item. I considered a rebuild able core.. And priced that way.
Seeing it run bumps the value up a little,, but then, even a poorly maintained and abused motor may run….for a short time.
That’s just my rule of buying used assembles like a motor.. as always it’s just an opinion.

..\ \\\ What would I pay for a used take out motor?? $300-500

it's worth more as parts.

Split the bottom and the top, and sell that way. As far as the SM carb... it's not worth much. People take them off to replace it with an FCR MX or an E carb... so they are all over ebay.

Any engine that I've bought used(non DRZ) I've torn down and rebuilt. Most of the time I did this anyways because I wanted a built motor, but wanted minimal downtime.
So I could take my time building it, and then just take a weekend, and swap it out.

A reason for this was because I don't know what the previous owner did to it. Did they beat the piss out of it, and then decide to sell it? Was there something wrong with it that they knew about and wanted to pass it off on someone else and take the money and run?
Caveat Emptor.

I would say $800-1000 if it's all stock and has been well treated & maintained. Post it here and on Supermotojunkie.
