heres the deal. just recently my water pump seal on my 02 wr426f gave up and i began leaking fluid. no problem. went to my local yamaha dealer and orders a new bearing, 2 seals and a shaft as it was worn. then looking round whilst waiting for parts i found people saying you should flush you water system with a solution of 50% water + 50% distilled white vinegar. makes sense so i got my parts today and fitted them to the letter in the manual. started it just on water to begin with. no problems. stuck this vinegar solution and warmed the engine to 55degrees C and all of a sudden ive got steaming vinegar solution pissing out that hole in between the seals that tells you you need to change the seals.
WHAT THE HEL!
has this happened because of the vinegar or just a dodgy seal
please help
