Is the headlight adjusted correctly when it comes from the factory? I am asking because I finally did some night riding alone on streets not well lit at all and the stock light didn't show much in front (around 25 feet was the max) of me unless I had the high beam on.

My S headlight was adjustable. There were screws that let you change the up/down tilt as well as the left/right focus. I bet if you look closely you'll find those adjusters on your bike.

really depends on rider and his/her prefs. I adjusted mine down when I got it. i'm a big guy and the backend sagged a lot. Then I resprung and revalved for weight and it was way too low.

There are screws that tilt the light and they are easy to adjust to your preference.

Thanks for the quick reply y'all.

I am putting my bike away for winter this weekend so maybe I will adjust them before I do it since it sounds easy

the screws are just under the headlight. when I adjusted mine I went for a ride at night and threw a screwdriver in my bag. Pulled over once or twice to adjust untill I got it where I wanted it.

That is correct. Take a small phillips (star) head screw driver with you next night ride. They're directly under the light. You can get to them with the surround on.

Correct. If you are facing towards the headlight, the screw on the left adjusts the light vertically, and the screw on the right adjusts the light horizontally.
