Ok guys, Im 6'6''. I have stock bars and want to raise them and possibly replace them. If and when i do this, what bar/height, brand. I know Im going to get the adapter that raises and moves forward, but the bar has me wondering. So, anyone tall out there that can help suggest set up would be great! thx in advance.

Look at a Freestyle/ATV bend bar or a Renthal Jimmy Button bend.

Yup! A set of "Jimmy Button's" or "Travis Pastrana" bend bars and a set of BigDR's risers(http://www.barrisers...rdrisers78.html), and you're in business.

I am only 5' 11 1/2" tall, but I sit tall in the saddle. I have gotten used to lower bars, but I have used the Jimmy Button and the ATV bends in the past. They look weird, but work just fine.

I'm only about 5' 10", but drive standing up most of the time. The risers I posted actually are mounted on one of my friends bikes. His name is DenDrz and is actually the designer of the risers that Barrisersonline sells. He is about 6'3" or so. I have a Topar top clamp with risers on my KLX. These I also got from DenDrz, who bought them from Eddie. Small world, eh?:ride:

Scotts stabilizer is expensive but nice to have and you get "free" risers ! Combine those with Pro Taper Contour "Woods High" bars and you have much higher bars. I like em high because i stand up a lot for hare scramble - woods riding.

I am 6'4" with 33" inseam so I am tall on top. I got a GPR setup similar to the Scotts undermount on 1978Rider's post. I got Protapers in a Henry /Reed bend and I feel they are a little low. You dont need to get a Stabilizer to get risers but you must have risers to under mount your stabilizer.

You can rise with standard bars. Rise and set back, Rise and set forward, and rise set back/forward with a different bend. You could skip the risers and just go to a higher bend but that would only make a 10-20 mm difference.

If you were ever near Ohio, I would let you ride mine and feel it out. If I were to do it again I would go with a CR Hi bend and the risers I have.

Most riders are looking for a comfortable height while standing and although I have long arms, I would need a much higher bar to be truly comfortable.

Check Wheeling Cycle Supply for a Zeta riser setup that is high quality for a very reasonable price. If you change bars, be sure to get a new throttle tube and grips because the stock throttle tube is Vulcanized to the grip. Not a problem if you keep the stock grips but mine were worn and i had to grind the rubber grip off the plastic throttle tube. I added some pillow tops and like them a lot.

Up and forward will make a huge difference. I run barrisersonline risers and CR HI bend Renthals. I like the setup.
