i have a JD needle and it is fine. James actually traded carbs with me and it came with a 42 pilot, 160 main and one of his extended fuel screws. i'm running a yosh rs-2 pipe, k&n and 3x3 and it was perfect. i ended up with the same settings he had on it when i took it out of the box. James' stuff is the best!

decide if you want to use the kit or not and i will give you a setting.

the JD kits are handy as the come with the parts and instructions/guideance.

DRZ jetting is so refined that the JD kit is not a must have like on some bikes.

its up to you.you will be satisfied either way.
