2010 yz450 on the east coast

Recommended Posts

rider211, I do ride at Center Road and Thunder Valley. Lately, we've been going to Wide Open in Reaford, NC a lot. It's really fast with some big safe jumps and always in great condition. I'm looking forward to Center Road again too. I haven't ridden there since summer. I'm actually on Jay's old CRF450.

Yeah thats what I ended up paying. I thought I was going to be able to avoid paying sales tax but couldnt get around it. Saleman said something to the affect that Pennsylvania mandates that they charge sales tax so I paid 7500 before tax

I don't think that is correct! OH & WV already took delivery of the 2010's
Nope... FL & Ga already received their first wave of them... Not sure when the next one is though.

I purchased mine in pennsylvania last week. I ordered it back in early september though. My dealer said the first 6 that he ordered were already taken.

Make an offer, it cant hurt. The dealers can ask whatever they want...

I have - made a few. Kinda pissed me off actually - my local dealer who I have bought all my bikes from and made a ton of referrals to - is one of the ones trying to stick it to me hardest.

Just picked one up in Valdosta GA tonight! Called them this morning just to see if they had one, they said they just got one on Saturday and still had it... It's the only one they have received and they don't know when there getting another one. I can't believe no one had their name on it already. It's a White one. Got it for $7,700.00... I'll post pics later!

My friend that owns a dealership was scratching his head as to why the new YZ's aren't running out of their showrooms. He indicated that people were calling daily about this bike before it arrived and even were putting down payments on the bike, but many, myself included, never actually purchased the bike.

It appears their interest was bigger than their wallet. Much of the hype seems to have dissipated. It was an interesting and enlightning conversation to say the least.
