today i went to the doctors office, because i had a 101 degree temp and a slight cough. they tested me for h1n1, and i was posotive. it is not even close to being as bad as a regular flu or even a common cold. i even played some basketball after i got home, and was not tired at all. i guess i just have a mild case, but still you shouldnt freak out about it, its not bad at all. i had no vommiting diharrea fatigue or anything bad.

My 5 year old was not bad either for the first few days. It got bad on days 4 and 5. Of course it will impact different people in different ways. It has killed 4 thousand in the U.S. so far so don't underestimate it and don't spread it around.

I must be imune to it. I had her sitting on my lap for a week and never got it.

I had it, kicked my butt. 103 plus on the temp. Went back to work too soon, then got a cold. Went to a race expended too much energy and was cold and wet all day.
Still sick after 5 weeks.

Luckily for most it is mild. NWetRider, having held you sick daughter you may have actually got it, but it was so mild you didn't notice. However, like any flu some people can get it really bad.

Problem with H1N1 isn't the flu itself, it's the after-effects. Messes with your airways, then comes pneumonia/etc. Most of the deaths attributed to H1N1 are actually from complications caused by it, not problems from the flu itself.

Big +1 for ignoring the media hype about it. Really not as big a deal as they make it out to be.

I got it, it was nothing. My mom got it and she had a fever of 103.4! It hit her HARD and she could barely get up.

Your immune system can handle it... with a little help.

apple cider vinegar
Vitamin D
Lemon in your water/tea
Flax seed oil

Take care of yourself. Google immune system support..
