Without all this help, I wouldn't be racing. It's that simple. This Solo attempt has been a goal of mine since the mid 90's. I feel very lucky to even have a chance to do this race , hopefully all the hard work (and $) pays off, and this 39 year old man makes everyone proud.:ride:

Go Ron, Go!!

If you are in need of anything, look for the 10x signs and our crew will be happy to help.

#1 What tires are you running on the fifty?

#2 Did you re-jet it?

If you need a spare XR-50 for pre-running I would be glad to help you out but I would really consider pre-running with a XR-70.

Good luck I will be rooting for you!

Good luck Ron. I'm obviously a little biased and hoping 308x stays in front of you, but I would still love to see a solo rider show all these sissy 4,5,6,7,8,9,10 man teams how to ride! If anyone can, it's SurfNRide :ride:

Ok-So here's a baja newb question: Whats with the flat black paint on the front half of the front fender-I've seen a lot of bikes done this way?

To reduce/eliminate headlight glare maybe?

Sweet ride SNR!

Correct. Same reason the underside of visors are painted flat black... glare is no good.

Kevin, I think the podium would require one of your miracles. Can God make 4 or 5 bikes blow up?

Spot link -- I borrowed Gabriel Williams Tracker -- I think he wanted to see it go really fast for a change. lol... So, when you see his name, that's me.

Re-Prunning tomorrow and sat - ensenada to ensenada. (skipping that pesky little san felipe mess), staying at Mikes sat. night. Tequila on me!
