Our 1970 Datsun pickup came with a Yuasa. It lasted almost ten years. If the quality is as good now as it was then, YES!

they come sealed from the factory.. maintaince free and are some of the longest lasting batts on the market..
now if u have a cyclegear near u.. go to them and pick up one of our batteries.. called the megaboost.. it comes with a lifetime warrenty so if u ever have a problem u can bring it back to one of the stores.. and they will replace it free of charge.. now heres the kicker.. it should be 10-20 bucks cheaper then the yuasa..

Yes they are worth the extra money, especially if you don't have a kick start as a backup.

I agree with slinkyman, I too work at a cycle gear and u can't go wrong with the megaboosts, they are sealed most the time, maintence free, and the last battery you will ever have to buy. Some of those yuasa batteries are rediculous in price. Good battery but as mentioned the megaboosts are way cheaper. Can be more then 20 bucks sometimes.
