I am cleaning the jets on a Mikuni BS34 off of a 2007 Yamaha XT 225.
When I turned the carb upsidown I heard the needle hit the diaphram cover. That did not seem right. So I took the cover off and sure enough there is nothing holding the needle in place. Seem like there should be some kind of keeper/washer between the slide spring and needle to keep it down in the slide.
Anyway this does not seem right so I was wondering where on-line I might find an exploded view of this carb so I can determine if this is normal or if there is something missing.
FYI, someone was in this carb before me so I am not sure if somthing is missing or not.
