Done a search but can't really find an answer to my question.
How long do you think premium pump gas can be stored in a sealed 45 gallon steel drum? The drum is stored in a shop with little heat fluctuations. I would like to avoid stabalizer if I can. Do you think a month or two is no worries?

If stabalizer is the answer, does anyone see any ill effects to running stabalizer in my bike 24/7 ?

Cheers:cheers:

If it's sealed in a metal container and kept from getting too hot then a month or two is no problem.

Just wondering, but why do you want to store premium in a 45 gallon drum?

Because with the HC piston I put in my bike I need to run 94 octane and thats an hour+ away from were I live.

I have a drum of Sunoco Sandard Racing Gas 114 octane. I store it on a small wood pallet to keep condensation and rust from building up on the bottom. Four months no problem. Just keep it sealed when not using. When you open t try to do it first thing in the morning when the temper of the drum is balanced with the air around it to keep the drum from breathing.
