so my 05 kx250f overheated and now has a piston knock. is there a usual suspect like the cylinder warping or the piston deforming before i tear into it? the bike still runs great just has a high pitch knock that follows RPM's.

probly top rod bearing (which their is none) so you will need to replace the whole rod
