I have a 77 xt500 that I bought last summer, and have not got it running yet. I am cllecting a bunch of parts thru ebay. I just put a rebuild kit in the carb, but my manual ( Clymer ) has not illustration of the carb like most manuals do. Apart from the fact it doesnt run and backfires, when I tore the carb down there was a very small round ball bearing that came out. Does anyone know where that would be from? Also I have a spark, but just cant get it to fire. Anyone know where I can get an illustration of the carb broken down,...and any suggestions on how to get this bad boy to fire up. This is my first post, and hope its in the right place. I was on the roadstar warrior site for years and had great success with the forum there....Thanks in advance Paul
