whats a 99 RM 250 worth?
I have found a fixer upper and just wanted to see what its really worth.

Here is a copy of the add.

1999 RM250 2stroke. Very snappy bike, it would be a good starter bike and this was my first dirtbike but now i need more! good condition just rebuilt the motor a year ago and hasnt had but mabey 7 or 8 rides that werent very long at all. BRAND NEW clutch by raider, new acribis rear fender, geared down 2 teeth in front, new clutch and brake levers, devol aluminum radiator gaurds, works connection skid plate, new motion pro throttle tube, newer brake pads just bleed, pro circit tail pipe with fmf sst gold series pipe. it has a bunch of extras to go with it: 2 extra rear tires one is worn down to like 30% and the other is like 90% the one on it is like 20%, 2 extra front sprokets, stock (13) and new in plastic (12), clarke destert tank that is like 250 bucks alone, other brake and clutch levers that will work in a pinch, an extra rear fender from acribis cuz you never kno, has some more but i cant think. I am asking 1500 or best offer and i am very reasonable.

$1,500 sounds high to me. I just bought a 95 RMX 250 for $1,000. It has just been completely gone thru, rear shock and front forks rebuilt by the KTM shop.

Took this last night:

Nice bike.
I did think his price was high, was going to offer him about half that if it looked as rough in person as it did in the ad.

I saw a ratty RM250 that had been painted black listed at $650. Most around here are listed in the $1,200 to $800. The one I bought was origionaly listed at $1,500 and I was his first caller after he lowered it to $1,100.

He went down to a grand then told me he didn't have a title.
So no go on that one.
