Homebuyer credit extended and expanded

Congress will be extending the $8,000 home buyer credit to June of 2010.
To qualify you must not have owned a principle residence for the last three years. They are also giving a $6500 tax credit to current homeowners who have owned for at least fives years and want to sell and buy again.
The 30yr fixed rate for most loan types continues to range from % 4.75 to %5.25.

Glad my tax dollars, actually my kids tax dollars are being used for such a good cause.

Yep, I didn't qualify for that one either. When is the cash for 10 year old dirt bikes coming out?:busted:
