Well I would say 3k if its nice.. I would pay 3k for an 07 450 in great shape any day. I just sold a 04 250f in NY for 2400 in great shape. Its about finding someone whos willing to pay what its worth and appreciates a well taken care of machine. If a bikes worth a certain amount, dont sell it for less all it will do is drive the value even lower. People tried to low ball me telling me they can get 04 250s for $1500.... So I asked them why are you calling me then??? go get yourself that $1500 4 stroke.. good luck with it too. ? Im betting you will get 3k easy if you advertise.

WOW...Im surprised you guys think those are good prices for a used bike. Dealers are selling new 08 YZ450's for $4334 out the door. There's no way I would pay $3000 for a used 07. I guess it's good for the one's selling though.

same here. 4395 for new 08 yz 450's. i could maybe see 2900 for a lightly used 07 if it were perfect and well setup. pipe, can, bash plate, guards, etc.

Ya thanks rideagainst.... It s not like new .. It s new! I put just about everything new on it that u can .. from sunline parts to tag bars and sprockets . cvs hoses.. to new graphics .. have like 4 sets in different colors.. New pipe.. everything.. It s way nicer than a stock bike. I mean it s a 450 f same as an 09 I bought new at the end of 08. Id really like to sale it to be able to get the 2010.. Otherwise Ill just keep tearing it up on the 07.. It rides really good. If I could get something around 3,500 for it Id sale it. I think it s worth way more considering the loan says it is as well. lol.

I realized that, but the exchange rate favors them so I would think their prices would be lower....no?
(referring to Canadian prices) No. Because of a number of things, new bike prices are 10-20% or so higher in Canada, which inflates the used market. They also cannot bring one across the border without paying import fees that more than offset the lower price they paid for it here.

it not that bad actually, $200 and a written reciept, $30 canadian tire inspection, and that's about it, other then taxes which you have to pay anyway if your transferring the ownership. I know people who have (I live close to the boarder) and got decent deals said and done, but personally i can't be bothered
