I have a question, I am doing a bottom end and a top end on my sons bike. I have all the top end gaskets already. I am wondering about the bottom end. Moose sells a whole kits with oil seals but I am not sure of them. Do I really need all the oil seals or should I just get oem gaskets.
Plz any sugestions, I am driving myself crazy..... bike is a 03 KX 125.

IMO....If your doing the top and bottom end, Bearings, Crank ect....I would replace all the oil seals as well, that way you won't have to worry about having to go back into it for a while.

Yes, you're better off replacing all the seals now. You will also need a tube of case sealer like Yamabond for the case halves. You can't use silicone.

Thanks, So the onlyother thing I would like to know is. I have a cometic gaskets for the top end and I would rather use those. But for the bottom end the only kit i can
find with all gaskets and oil seals is Moose, are those ok for the bottom end?

I'm pretty sure Moose just rebranded those gaskets. They should be fine.

the moose and msr kits both rebrand stuff. nkm?, ntm? whoever they are, makes the dam parts. i think commetic and athena rebrand someone elses seals and make their own gaskets
