2001 RM250 why no clutch cover or vforce?

I've considered replacing my stock stator and clutch cover with cool pro circuit or Hinson covers, but seems like most clutch covers only go down to 2002. Also, I've considered changing my stock reed cage for a V-Force, but every time I look I never find stuff for a 2001. At least it looks like 98-02 RM250's only get the V-Force 2 system, not the 3.

What gives?

I haven't looked for any of that stuff yet for mine, but I was under the impression that EVERYTHING interchanged from 01-03, and a bunch of stuff interchanged from 01-06 or 07.

Save your money. I've been through 2 aftermarket clutch covers already and the V-force just isn't worth it ( I have one). Dollar for dollar the boyeson power or pro reeds will be better and cheaper.

Ive used Boyesen Rad valve with a lot of success. I would do some more research but I recommend that set up. You can check our price here:

+1. V-force is not worth the money (I run one also)

Never had a V force, but I put Boyesen Pro Series reeds in mine a few rides ago. 100% happy with them. Plus there cheap to buy.

Thanks for the replies. So you wouldn't even recommend the Rad valve?

I think you misread the responses. The RAD valve is great!
