Could someone please tell me the service limit on the cylinder bore? I am in need of a service manual for a 2000 RM 250 and it would help me out a lot if I could keep working on a rebuild I have going. Thanks in advance for any help.

Well your cylinder is plated. So if it's grooved or scratched bad enough to hook a finger nail, it needs new plating and possibly a bore job to clean it up. I believe the 250's can go to 310cc's. But a 250 bored over is overkill. If you need more power then save your cash on the overbore and get a CR500 or KX500. But bore and plating will run you about $250.

Thanks, I'm not interested in boring or upgrading. I am simply trying to rebuild this machine as cheap as possible so I can sell it.

So does anyone have a manual where they can get me that spec?
