I've bent up several OEM bar mounts on my KDX, and i'm tired of it. I'd also like to upgrade to a 1 1/8" bar. I discovered this on ebay, but they don't specify the bar size. Can someone clarify?

What have other people done to toughen up this area? Thanks!

Those look to be 7/8...I have a set for 1 1/8 bars off a KX, but they are also risers.

I emailed them and asked.

Do you think these are a good improvement over stock? I've bent 2-3 stock risers. they might as well be made of play-doh. maybe I should stop crashing, lol.

Those are 1 1/8". Oversize is the key term in the listing. They will be fine for your app. Also, get a set of replacement cones from Scott's or Applied to replace the stock rubber cones.

I stopped bending bars when I went to fat bars. However, I've tweaked a set of Scott's oversized bar clamps. The stock steal bars on the Kawi's were all like butter. I bent the OEM's on the KDX when it fell in the garage.

I just noticed shipping is 15.99, eff that!

What other applications share the same ones as a 99 KDX? same year KX? Don't see listings for KDX.
