alright guys, so i consider myself pretty bike worthy as far as working on them goes but im a little confused. my girlfriend has a 06 rm 125 and it has a super low idle. we race harescrambles and ride alot of trails and its just a pain for her not having an idle. it pretty much dies eight when it gets to idle. on everyother bike i have had there is a idle screw thats very apparent but not on this bike. I looked through the manual and i saw the air screw, witch i dont really wanna mess with cause its jetted pretty close right now, and i also saw the screw with the nut on it, but in the manual it says something about that being a throttle lockout screw or something like that?? so i didnt really wanna mess with it. any info on how to adjust the idle would be greatly appreciated thank you.
(btw, the top end is just fine, only about 20 hours.)

that phillips head screw on the left side of the bike. it will have an 8mm(i believe) locknut on it. break that lock nut free and adjust away from there. mine was the same way and i coudlnt figure it out. loosened that 8mm nut up and then used the screwdriver and adjusted to perfection. make sure the bikes good and warmed up when you start playing with it.

Like the previous post says, try that screw. It stops the slide, and you want to make the slide stay open a little further. I never had much luck with it however, as far as getting a consistent idle. I ended up just putting in back to stock and I quickly got used to not having an idle.

BTW, if the bike is used for HSs, you might want to go one size smaller on the pilot jet. It helped my 04 run a little cleaner of the bottom, which helps in the woods.

yeah rpt is right, the bike isnt meant to idle for periods much longer then 10 to 20 seconds. I completely do understand when its anoying that if you pull the clutch coming into a corner the bike starts to die if you let off the throttle for a second, and i fixed that with the screw i mentioned above.
