i know this is not the classified section, but i just wanted to check the interest on something to see if it will be worth me trying to sell. i have the stock fork springs (.44) and stock shock spring (5.1) that i dont need since im a little on the heftier side. i figure ill ask $100 for the set or $50 for either plus shipping. do those prices seem ballpark? thanks guys and im proud to be part of this great little section of TT!

I'll guess the 2003 KX250 in his signature. Original poster, did I get it right? You may have wanted to mention which bike they are from.

In reality, I don't know if you could even give the old springs away. I'm not trying to be the negative "johnny" but, there is probably not much interest for stock springs. However, if you keep the old parts for your bike, when you sell it, the new owner might want the stock springs for their size and weight. On my bikes I usually like to keep the stock parts and sell those with the bike, in case the new owner wants the stock stuff. Things like pipes, silencers, tanks, bars, etc. You can return the bike back to showroom stock to sell it, which might make it more marketable for a used bike. Plus you can keep your good stuff, the stuff you like, in case it fits on the new bike. ;o) Just a suggestion, but to answer your question, I don't believe there is a big demand for the stock springs because there is so many of them around. But what the heck, the craigslist add is free and who knows.

i totally understand your point. my thought was in case somebody bought a bike and the rates were too stiff then they could buy a stock set if they were closer to the correct rate. this was just to kind of test the water, so its no big deal. ill let em sit unless i find somebody that wants em.
