Have any of you guys gone through this i have a inspection scheduled for this afternoon and was wondering what to expect. I am tying to get a flatbed that was left behind when my pops purchased his house about 15 years ago.

When I built my trailer about 10 years ago the WSP did not even check the lights, safety chains or tires. All they looked at the axle for a manufacturing tag and weight rating, any previous serial numbers and all my receipts so they could tax me on the total and put a value on it. I asked the inspector if he wanted to see the lights work. He said NO and stated non working lights and no chains is an infraction out on road not in their inspection shop . Made no sence to me at all.

I went through it years ago, they didnt really check much except made sure the tongue and hitch was sound, and safety chains connected properly. I think their biggest concern was it coming loose.
