I have a very beat up set of forks in my 98 WR400 and found a set of 00 forks valved for my weight for a reasonable price. Will they fit right in or do I have to buy the 00 triples too?

Thanks!

As far as I know, it should be a drop in fit.

They will fit in the triples, but I'm not sure about the lower part of the forks and wheel - thought the 98's had a smaller diameter axle?:smirk:

The '98 rear axle was different, but not the front. They used 20mm bearings and the same hub from '97 to '01.
