...that the offroad community in general, and my friends in particular, are awesome.

Late last night while doing final prep on my bike for the 24 hour race I discovered that my rear rim was cracked pretty badly. Within an hour I had FOUR different offers of wheels that I could borrow. Fortunately I was able to 'borrow' the wheel off of my son's bike so the problem is handled, but the fact remains that tons of help was immediately offered.

It seems that anytime anybody needs something that there are several people willing to step up and help however they can.

A great big thanks to all! :worthy:

Totally agree. My bike friends are about the only ones I care to hang with anymore. Great group of people.

Reminds me of when I was on my way to go riding with some buddies. 1 of them also rides a DRZ and has a 3.2 IMS tank. Well I had my bike apart the nite before and when I put the shrouds back I used a bolt that was to long (it was late and I was tired, Cut me some slack here.) and puctured my tank. I had no idea until I stopped about 1 mile from his house and filled it with gas and noticed it leaking. Went on to his house to break the news that couldnt ride anymore because of my stupid mistake. He gave me his stock tank. I think overall we just have good people involved in our sport.

A customer from your area was just purchasing some stuff from me last week. I asked him if he knew Nate -n- Mitch. He said "yes" and said Mitch was doing bike repair now. Anyway wish i could take back the nice things i said about you. maybe I'll have to call him back.

People who ride motorsickles are dirty and scary.

I refrain from associating myself with those types of individuals.

Scott and I always end up hitting Gifford early in the year and race to the snow line to plaster the other rider with snowballs. I snapped this pic one day during a friendly artillery exchange and when looking at them on my PC that one jumped out at me looking like the posture of the famous big foot photo. I did the insert and the rest is history. Good times.
