I am looking for some numbers for my bike - I've talked with RuskRacing and they only sell the sets - Ideally I'd like a set of fronts/sides, but my graphics kit already has the side number plates covered, so I'm just gonna do numbers there.

Does anyone sell just the custom front number plates? Something with a number and a name that doesn't look too busy?

I'm asuming most companies will only sell as a set. I had a look at your graphics kit in your other post. Your side number plate trim only covers the top of the number plate If I am correct. Wouldn't be a bad Idea to just get a full set and have them custom made to match your graphics. They save your plastic. Just my 2 cents. Your bike is gona look great when shes all finished.

My kit has just a little strip that covers the top of side plates - If I got a set somewhere, could I stick the numbers down then this strip over top of them and expect them to stay stuck?

I dont know how well that would work. But you could try shaving that section off the number backgrounds, and then putting that strip down to replace the part you shaved off.
