I am in the market for a new cluch i have bean running oem in my 98 rm becouse my previouse hinnson went to crap in like 4 months on the track this summer i cheeped out and re installed my oem basket after filing it down but its time for a new one i would like to know how the wiesco baskets hold up verses the hinnson i have bean told that hinnson was the best and thats why i bought it but it wore out pretty quick around the same time as my oem basket 4 months summer riding on private track i would have thought that a billet basket would last a few years or at least one. guess i was wrong so if any one is running the wiesco with good results let me know please thanks.

Buy a Wiseco in 2009 and it's warrantied for life. Can't ask for more than that. That's why I bought mine but haven't installed it but I will have the pressure plate and hub by the end of the year. Same deal for those parts also.

good to know that would be nice to only buy it once i guess i better buy two so i can send one in and run one becouse there is no way it will run forever i do the same with my iron man sprokets they have a one year gaurentee but i burn them up in a few months on the 450 and cr500 so i got two one to run while the others are being replaced thanks for the info i think i will do the whole set up basket hub and preasure plate if its lifetime warenteed.

I had a Wiseco basket on my RM250. It held up quite well (Well over 100 hours of hard MX and dune riding). It did develop grooves in it eventually (I doubt any clutch basket would last forever if ridden hard), but still way better than a stock unit. I would recomend the Wiseco, especially if they now have lifetime warranty.
