I used to run a Scotts Damper back a few years ago when I raced HS. I felt it did what it was supposed to do and I never had any problems with it. Now I'm back into ridng and a Damper is on my short list of upgrades for next season. (Christmas is comming )

I really like the cost and fit of the Motosportz under bar application. Looks very neat and tidy, which will help with enduro computer mounting. I run with the stock bar spacers and it appears the damper replaces them without changing the bar hieght, which is cool. I can't find much feedback on the Motosportz Damper. The wrench at my shop (ToyTech) said he's only ever put one on.

Anyone help with a comparrison to the Scotts? Or just personal experiences with the Motosportz?

Thanks, Mike

Kelly's damper has saved my ass more times than I care to admit. I've been running a Scotts for years and they are great. Often referred to as the "Hand of God". I decided to try Kelly's due to the small size and "trick" factor. It's done everything for me a damper needs to do....and that's keepin' me on two. Love it.

I have been using the Motosportz damper on my YZ's for 3 years and most recently on a TXC with zero problems.
A well designed and built product that delivers.:worthy:

I've ridden with the Scotts damper and they work well but I like the Motosportz damper better because it easily adjusted "on the fly" and works as or better than the the Scotts.

I am selling my 09txc450 but I took the Motosportz damper off to sell seperate, Its yours for $300. The damper works realy well, Ive tried them all and this one works more like a GPR than a SCOTTS. PM me if interested.

I decided to go with the Motosportz Damper, seemed like it was well liked here and Kelly is pretty cool  which sealed the deal.

It's supposed to be here Thursday. Just in time for the Hammer Run this weekend. New sneakers and a damper, I'm not going to know how to act.

I'll post some thoughts on installation and function next week after the Hammer Run.
