Since there's a new "roadie" vid forum here's a motard trip video from this summer to get things going. These are all guys from supermotojunkie and TT.
Thanks again for putting this together Tony! Enjoy.

Great video...:bonk:

Couple of questions:

What happened to the Husky at about 7:20?  Was that something that broke off the bike?

What was the guys problem in the parking lot? Was he pissed because you guys were jumping that hill?

The Husky tucked the front and low-sided just before the camera got there, rider was okay. Guy in truck took it upon himself to be mister-do-gooder and chase us off the private property, even though it wasn't his. We waited for him to leave and jumped some more.

It's funny that he was driving that truck, around here only "billy badass" types drive dually pickups as a personal vehicle, esp. ones with 6' beds.  Buy it just to be "that guy".  Wonder if he ever thought for a moment that he was out numbered what, 10 to 1....not very bright.

props for a good vid, great roads, looks like a real good time......is it spring yet?

Before I look to see where you were from I thought it looked like the ride was in NC. Right? I thought about geting a SM510. Would you think I would like the 610 better?

WNC to be exact. With the right mods a 610 can be almost the racebike a 450/510 is, alot more commuter friendly but still not really a track bike. Just depends on what you want it for. If you plan on 75/25% trackdays/local twisties then get the 510. I ride my 610 everywhere; pavement, dirt and track but it's modded out the whazooo too.

A good friend bought the SM450 and somewhat regretted it because of the motor size and his style of riding. He then went to a SM510 and was much happier.
I owned a '06 TC510 and tried to MX with it but retuned to my CRF450. I know that if I get a SM it will not see a lot of dirt (i'm probably wrong). However I don't want to regret getting the 510 over the 610.
With your experience on the 610 do you have any regrets vs buying a 510?
