I read that the TC gets sealed chamber Kayabas, but does the TE also?

Some say open chamber are easier to make into plush woods forks, but I'd still like to know the answer if anyone knows.

The TE will be getting the open chamber and the TXC/TC will have the closed chamber. As far as making them into good woods forks I think both will work good. You may get a little better job out of the dual chamber IMO. I am trying to decide this myself, do I want a tag or do I want the forks and less weight.

I'll pay extra to get the TXC forks on a TE and have the best of both worlds!

Already have been thinking that. You may be able to retro fit a Kawi front fork on there but we need to get the bikes in first to see. I did notice that the axle appears to be the typical large Husky axle. You would either have to swap internals (if possible) or have the lugs off the TE fitted on the Kawasaki fork. Again, I am not sure yet.

Or spend $600ish and get a front wheel built that works with the kawi forks. Not a big deal if you're already heading down the pay-for-more route.

I had a tubless wheelset built up for my 09 TXC that's pretty slick. I think the front and rear were both around the $650 range with talon hubs and black excel rims + spokes.

Where did you get that price? Also, the talon hubs fit our huskies?

I know this is a little off subject but tell us more about the 2010 TE 250 ride. What was the motor like? Did it have as much bottom end as the previous years or compare it to another four stroke. Also was there any Fuel Injected adjustments before you rode it? Just can't wait to swing a leg over one.

How was the power and have you ridden a TC250 or TXC250 for comparison?

Why not use kawi forks ,wheel and brake caliper, even the MC?

I'm also wondering what the TXC bottom end power is like and how the vibrations are. I've heard the TC is a bit soft on bottom. I have not seen any dyno's yet. Is the TE the only EFI one or is the TXC EFI?

Husky official website is horribly lacking.

If anyone has a 2010 250 and are near Colorado Springs, we could throw it on our dyno.........

lol. So we're talking about buying a 2010, the newest greatest thing, then scrapping the whole front end for a KAWI setup??! LOL.

Talon hubs fit the Huskies, yeah. You just have to specify that on the order. I'll ask the shop guy where he ordered them from - just a custom wheel builder as far as I know.

The TE is the only EFI - the TXC is carb.

The zokes 50 single cartridge forks for a TE were pretty good for real trail riding. I would imagine the Kyable singlr cartridge will at the very least replicate this. The dual chamber forks are designed for more MX use. The simple more plush forks for trail riding are good-they keep you well protected by their plushness (this does not necessarily equate to bottoming etc.). The more race orientated forks will handle big shocks better but by nature are stiffer and as a consequence more tiring.
Just my 2 cents worth-horses for courses.
