I am looking at 2moto kit. I need another bike in the stable though. I asked Bill from 2moto if my XR650R  would work....trails yes, deeper to true pow-pow no way. SO that means another bike...finally get my YZF or WR 450 :bonk:...then the the Mrs. spoke up
  :bonk:   :bonk:
Looks like a bike has to leave the stable, and it can't be my 150cc Pitster  - dam her and her slight knowledge of bikes :banghead: she knows that isn't a fair trade.

Always wanted a snowhawk tho, liked everything about them and that was in my weak, quad riding days lol.  Couldn't afford one back then (too much into my Raptor) and when I could pay up I couldn't find any used ones to buy and no near by dealerships.

Great to know there is a growing community out there for info and what not. Can't wait to show the sleds around here how a kickstart snow machine can kick there :ride:

If I understand you correctly you now are back focused on the Snow Hawk, they have a pull start and same drivetrain as 5/6/800 Ski-Doo. Now some of our Mod owners installing other manufacturers powerplants.

Did 2Moto actually tell you that their Radix kit is available for the XR650, L or R? I do know that the Explorer is adaptable to the 650R.

Don't forget our following on Snowest and Backcountryrebels forums.

The reason 2Moto said that the XR650 was not optimal is that it is heavy. It makes good power, but the P/W ratio if not up to snuff. As I develop new products for more bikes, I am very careful to make sure they perform and that I don't have customers out there saying how bad th RadiX performs when it is not the kit, but the bike.

As I expand presence into the flatlands (no offense), the XR will be OK. Right now, the major market is in the mountains and deep snow regions. So I have to make wise decisions on what I introduce and when. I cannot spend time and money to engineer and make a kit for bike that either does not sell or does not perform well enough for the riding area.

Funny.  Refering sources to mine are usually ADV, TT, and an occasional hit coming from the FBI.
