So, I've been reading through the whole post, did some online research that was confusing, so I'll just ask. Are they making these things anywhere else in the world?
After watching the vids, there is no way I'd buy a 2 ski (except for the wife, probably more appropriate for a woman).
Eventually I want to buy one of these things. Can't imagine the conversion kit would even compare. What about a conversion kit on a big bore two stroke? Have you ever seen one of them? I would think that would much for fun than the 4t.
Anyhow, I'm gonna keep lurkin until the time is right. So, just curious, what do you ride when there is no snow?

Don't discount a conversion kit for the wife, mine won't ride her 2-ski anymore...she's hooked on her two fiddy 1-ski.
(She rides where she wants now, instead of where everyone else has been!)

Last year of production was 2008, used machines in like new condition can be had by those who never figured out how good they had it.
Our efforts have grown the sport in a huge second wave, over 47 machines in 09', seventy showed this year, Hawk Fest grows by about 20% every year with smart forward thinking participants from all over the country demanding the challenge a single ski machine gives.
Only a matter of time till the enthusiest's/investor's or a large manufacturer picks this phenomenom up and put's the final layer of dirt on the same old!
For the other seasons, I've got an 2000 KTM 250cc 2 stroke woods bike and a thinned down Continental knobby'd 2000 BMW R1150GS, six inch taller seat, Piaa 520's, 42 liter paniers and many other Touratech goodies, over 100k logged on three GS's since 2001.

Lots of scenes from this last Feb's Hawk Fest including the Mountain Horse's brought by company owner Allen of Timbersled Products. I rode one and in ten minutes was sold, way easier to start on than the Hawk, turns a little wider and like allways could use more power in the wide open terrain but in the trees nothing can touch it!

Just a few of the good ones, and the only ones from the beginning, I guess the pics are worth thousands and thousands of words.

If one member has talent, I usually find it lies within the other siblings even greater, just got to get them to expose it.
That's a 300cc BRP Rotax air cooled single, same as in the Ski-Doo Freestyle.
