My reasons are I can ride all year, my wife will ride, and I have met more nice people at the race tracks and while trail riding than I ever did in 30 years of motorcycle riding.:bonk:

I love speed and the outdoors.  To me it doesn't really matter what I am on, I am going to have fun.  I have riden bikes, trikes, and quads my whole life and will always do so.

Plus it doesn't get much better than the freedom of the dunes.

i will always prefer two wheels, but I can have fun on 4, its a unique challenge, besides, when I feel like relaxing its nice to be able to go at slow pace.

i like being in the woods, riding with my 2 sons. i had street bikes for years, but too many egos, and most think theyre bada@#es. but dirt bike guys and quad riders are the best and we are all part of a true brotherhood.

i find that i can enjoy riding my trikes more than my 2 wheeler, mostly because i dont have to concentrate on keeping balance in boggy sand. or worry about falling over. i reckon they are more fun. you can relax a bit on quads/trikes, whereas you cant so much on two wheels

The last couple years, I spend most of my riding time at the dunes, and regardless of what anyone says, bikes just aren't that much fun in the dunes. Plus I couldn't easily ride with my 8 year old son with my CRF450, so I sold it last year and bought a YFZ450 off ebay. I loved that CRF, but I honestly don't think I'll buy another one. The YFZ is just about the right balance for riding with my wife and son, but not being boring.

I like the ride my ATV because the whole family rides, even my 7 yo grand daughter. Where we live, we have almost endless trails. Then there is the fact that we can ride all year.
I always say that I race my dirt bike but ride the quad, usually with the family in tow.

You have all summed up my thoughts exactly. Family fun, more relaxed when you want it to be, and you can pack a lunch or three! :bonk:

Mine isnt for play, more work. I bought it new in 2002, it has just hit the 1000 mile mark this last September. I use it for deer season, working around the yard, hauling firewood, or camping.

i like to ride quads when it helps me get stuff done,
like hauling a deer out of the bush, or plowing a driveway or parking lot etc.

I have some pretty bad arthritis in my knees so the quads are a little easier to ride. Also the wife wouldn't ride bikes so this way we can ride together.:bonk:

The ability to stop in tight places where you can't put your feet down and not fall over. But I like both.

started riding quads as a little kid, then switched to bikes. now getting back into quads and have both. i was always facinated with quads back when i was little. if i saw a 250r or something, it talked about it for the rest of the day. haha. but they are alot of fun and im happy to have one again.

I ride the quad alot to do exploring (alot easier than on my CRF450) for example I found a mine last year and have not been able to find it since, its much easier to look around and go slow on a quad (I found it again today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on the quad!!!!)

The first reason I bought one was because it was easier to take my 3yr old riding.
