Yes sir, this is going to be my next ute :bonk:

Nothing like a straight-5 cylinder diesel equipped with a 3rd-generation electronic variable geometry turbocharger.

That peak flat torque of 470 Nm (347 lb force-ft) for a stock-engine comes out as early as 1500 rpm and extends all the way to 3000 rpm. Latest diesel-mileage test ride conducted in Thailand, the 3.2-litre Ranger posted 17.5 km per litre fuel mileage. That would be 41.0 miles per US gallon by north American convention.

Started out with a rolled 04 tacoma 2wd 6 lug. 3.4l v6, automatic. 38,000 miles. Got it on my 14th Birthday.

Posted Image

Got a 99 donor parts truck.

Posted Image

Tore everything out of the rolled truck, swapped cabs, and put it all back in. Included Alpine speakers all the way around, 12" sub, 1200W amp.

Posted Image

Cut off bedsides, and mounted fiberglass.

Posted Image

Used the axle from a T100, with 4.56s and a locker.

Posted Image

Total Chaos Long travel kit with 8" King coilovers and fiberglass.

Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

Bumpers front and rear.. close to 200 hours on the front one.

Posted Image

Painted Matte Black... finished 2 1/2 years later. Method wheels, BFGs, intake and exhaust. Next mod... OEM Replacement Deaver leaf springs and Bilstein 5165s with progressive bumps.

Perfect Father/Son Project... Thanks Dad!

I would say Tacoma World. About the only site I frequent anymore. Pretty good long travel section.
