DezracerE, and off2desert,
yeah I've been going to El Mirage for almost 40 years! grew up going out there, and now taking my munchkins. I also normally park at the north/west side, near the road to Grey Mtn. (we will be there for Thanksgiving weekend).
I didn't want to stray from this threads topic, so I posted some more Elmo pics in the "post your rides" pic thread.
Enjoy... ride hard, and keep the rubber side down.

Its way different riding up here in New England.
Here is my hauler
16 ft trailer I converted into a camper, and my 02 Chevy van to pull it

I decided to trade in the dually for something that gets better mileage.
how do you guys think I did?
will I need to install heavy duty shocks?

You may have to cut out the rear inner fender wells to get the camper to sit flat in the bed....:smirk:

Drive an 03 F350 and haul a 20' enclosed trailer. This is the painting on the back door. Looking to upgrade to a 5th wheel toyhauler this year.

Thats actually my buddys truck, with my trailer. I havnt tried to stuff a quad in the back of my "truck" yet.

...well you can fit a quad in the back of the subaru, there is a special ramp system that goes from the bed to the top of your roof kind of like this:
